The famous viloncelista Svetlana Tovstukha leads the Department of string of the International Academy of Music of Barcelona.Llicenciada en violoncel pel Conservatori Superior Estatal de Música de Kazan (Rússia) estudia amb el gran mestre Daniel Shafran i ha actuat en les principals sales de concerts mundials, rebent clamoroses ovacions de l’opinió pública i de la crítica.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in cello from the State Conservatory of Music of Kazan (Russia), studying with the great maestro Daniel Shafran and has performed in the main international concert halls, receiving clamorous ovations from the public and critics.
