Charo Tris

He started singing studies in Madrid, with soprano Isabel Penagos. He continued his studies at the Superior School of Cant with tenor Manuel Cid. At the same time, he has done master classes with Peter Harrison, Elena Obraztsova (receiving special prize in his course of Callosa d’en Sarrià), Wolfram Rieger, Robert Expert, Miguel Zanetti, Victoria de los Ángeles and Carlos Chausson. He won a Musical Youth Scholarship in 2000, receiving this prize from the hand of His Royal Highness the Prince of Asturias.

As of that moment, he began his solo career with the opera Dido and Aeneas by Henry Purcell. His activity is carried out in Spain although he has performed several concerts in Germany as a prize after his participation in the lied courses of the pianist Wolfram Rieger. He has also made several tours in Sweden, a country he usually sings in Switzerland.

He sang the role of Zerlina by Don Giovanni de WA Mozart at the International Cervantino Festival in Guanajuato (Mexico) and in the interior of Mexico. Currently, he participates in several Festivals and collaborates in many of the works of the Liceu in Barcelona.

He has participated in masterclasses with prominent artists: Eddy Gomez, Renaud Garcia Fons, Barcelona Bass Meeting with the participation of Gary Karr. A music with broad stylistic abilities is defined. He likes to be always up-to-date and aims to offer music his best service.
